The aim of the association is to bring together voluntary youth clubs and other youth organisations in a common effort to help and educate young people in the Borough of Enfield.
To ensure equality of opportunity for all young people and to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities, that they grow to full maturity, so that the quality of life for themselves and for others may be improved.
Over the years it has now evolved into three main sections; Advisory; Training and an Awarding body.
Advisory will include assitance in forming a voluntary youth and all that entails,
providing CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checks for all persons working with young people in Enfield.
Membership of the EAVYC grants the following benefits;
EAVYC is the recognised umbrella body by Enfield Council for voluntary youth clubs in the London Borough of Enfield.
Membership is free to all clubs who meet the required standards in Child Protection and Health and Safety.
EAVYC is actively encouraging clubs to interact for the benefit of Young People in the London Borough of Enfield.
Any club or organisation who voluntarily chooses to remain outside our membership may find themselves at a disadvantage when seeking grants.
Please note that all enquiries for the EAVYC will be dealt with by Mr. Dave Lee,
Administrator & Disability Advisor.
